Susan Spatt-Logomasini  is a development professional with over 20 years of successful fundraising and leadership experience. Skilled at building and leading operations, Susan has enabled the growth of several distinguished non-profit organizations.

As a consultant for the Atlantic Health System, Chilton Medical Center Foundation, Susan helped to enhance their major gifts program by building a prospect pipeline and instituting on-going cultivation and stewardship events. She also developed a community partnership program that resulted in greater funding from area businesses and foundations.

Susan served as the Executive Director of the St.  Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Foundation from 2008 to 2018. While there, Susan created the vision, strategies, and action plans to enhance giving across all fundraising initiatives; recruited and developed a fundraising board; and cultivated, solicited, and stewarded principal-level gifts. During her tenure, she also helped to raise over $50 million cumulatively to fund capital improvements that supported patient care initiatives.

Prior to working in healthcare philanthropy, Susan was the Development Director for Eva’s Village, a comprehensive anti-poverty nonprofit. Started by area churches in response to a growing homeless population in Paterson, NJ, Eva’s provides over 1,000 meals daily, as well as shelter and addiction services to those in need. As the lead fundraiser for the organization, Susan was  responsible for raising the full operating budget through government and foundation grants, special events and a robust annual giving program.

Susan started her fundraising career with the Boy Scouts of America as the Scouting for the Handicapped Executive. She was promoted to the Director of the school-based Learning for Life Program, which provide character education and career awareness opportunities to 18,000 young people. Susan raised the funds to administer both of these programs.

Susan earned a MS in Human Services from Murray State University and her BA from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She lives in Weehawken, New Jersey with her husband Robert.
