Ryan is a passionate and results-oriented professional, offering experience working in the public sector and non-profit organizations, with specialized knowledge in fundraising, public relations, marketing, finance, change management, leadership development, and general administration. Ryan possesses a dynamic background with an aptitude to profoundly impact an organization’s overall performance.

 

Currently, Ryan is the Business Administrator for the Borough of Spotswood where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Borough, including the budget, constituent relations, human resources, public information, labor management, union negotiations, and special projects. During his tenure at the Borough, he has ushered in five new department heads and introduced and saw the adoption of budgets that saw no tax rate increase or realized a decrease in the rate to the taxpayers, while overseeing multiple million-dollar capital improvements and complex infrastructure projects.

 

Ryan has worked with multiple organizations to support their advancement functions including EWTN Global Catholic Network as the Northeast Mission Advancement Officer, where he was considered a qualified and trusted advisor to many EWTN supporters, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating development activities, programs, projects, and events, focusing on 14 states in the northeast to support EWTN’s mission and cultivate relationships within the EWTN Family. Ryan has also served the Archdiocese of Newark as the Director of School Advancement where, during his tenure of no school closures, he educated and empowered the ninety-three Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese to strengthen their mission through strategic advancement, marketing communications, and enrollment management.

 

Ryan began his professional career in service to the NJ Senate Health Chairman, Senator Joseph F. Vitale, and now NJ Assembly Speaker, Assemblyman Craig J. Coughlin working on a broad legislative portfolio ranging from public health to criminal and civil justice policy.

 

A proud graduate of Seton Hall University, Ryan earned a Master’s in Public Administration concentrating in Nonprofit Organization Management, and a bachelor’s in political science with a minor in Art History. Ryan resides in Woodbridge, NJ and is an active member of his community serving on several boards and commissions including Woodbridge Township Housing Authority, St. James School Advisory Council, Woodbridge Township Cultural Arts Commission, and the Woodbridge Township Mayor’s Advisory Committee. Ryan has received many awards for his service to his community including the United States President’s Volunteer Service Award.
