Dynamic and collaborative with a passion for connecting donors with causes that matter, Enna Olivia Maldonado Whitted brings nearly 22 years of experience as a senior leader within the nonprofit sector. From her role as an event planner and fundraiser in São Paulo, Brazil, to her uncanny ability to source and onboard benefactors to advance fundraising programs, Enna has been able to help institutions reach financial goals, generating $7 million in revenue while saving hundreds of thousands of dollars through various cost-saving measures.

As a consultant at Ruotolo Associates, Enna provides on and off-site services to clients in capital campaigns, pre-campaign studies, and comprehensive development programs. In her most recent position as Manager of Donor Development at the March of Dimes, her key responsibilities included managing over 300 accounts, overseeing fundraising programs at multi-national corporations, and coordinating stewardship activities for major donors. In 2022, Enna helped break down silos and facilitated communications by helping to create Juntos, the March of Dimes Hispanic Employee Resource Group, to promote diversity and inclusiveness.

One of Enna’s strengths lies in her ability to work with autonomy and entrepreneurship, individually and as part of a complex team effort. In addition, she has an acute understanding of the data infrastructure required for systematic resource mobilization. Her other areas of expertise include nonprofit management, committee relations, volunteer engagement, event planning, program management, budgeting, proposals and forecasting, strategic planning, corporate social responsibility, public relations, marketing, and process improvement. Enna thrives working with people from different cultural backgrounds; she is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Enna enjoys paying it forward in her free time by volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association as a Community Educator for the Hispanic community and her continued support of the March of Dimes. A native of Mexico City, Enna received her bachelor’s degree in Science in Communication from the Universidad Intercontinental, a private Catholic University and one of the six Mexican universities in the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU). She has completed additional courses at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and the Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI, where she received her Event Planning Certificate.

Enna resides in Boynton Beach, Florida, with her husband Ric and has one grown son. She enjoys cycling, travel, and golf.
