Ruotolo Associates recently named Dawn Handwerker as Director of its Church Division. Dawn will build on the leadership of Steve Michalek, who is now serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the firm.
“Dawn joined us in January 2020 and has consistently demonstrated her ability and commitment to our wide range of faith-based clients, as well as clients in our Nonprofit Division,” said company Chair & CEO George Ruotolo. “She is currently providing counsel for multiple significant capital campaigns with goals totaling over $80 million. Her work ethic and demonstrated ability allows her to effectively serve our clients through the conduct of pre-campaign studies to comprehensive development and campaign counsel. Dawn’s new role will enable her to focus on leading our Church Division in service to parishes, dioceses, and religious orders.”
Dawn spent over a decade in corporate marketing and project management, with an additional 15 years as an entrepreneur and business owner. She applied the insights she gained in those roles to non-profit fundraising and advancement, where she consistently delivered growth and philanthropic productivity to organizations and clients she has served.

Beginning this fall, Dawn will lead a new Ruotolo Associates office in Florida.
