Ana Dabrowski has spent her career focused in non-profit development and volunteerism. Her experience includes special events, volunteer management, strategic planning, board stewardship, project management, marketing and creative fundraising initiatives. She brings great passion, drive, commitment and creativity to each project.
While with RA, Ana’s clients have included St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish, Melrose, MA; Good Shepherd Parish, Wayland, MA; Cheverus School, Malden, MA; Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica, Lackawanna, NY; Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity, Lackawanna, NY; St. Mary’s Parish, Middlebury, VT; Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, Summit, NJ; Gloucester Catholic High School, Gloucester City, NJ; and Our Lady of Mercy Parish, South Bound Brook, NJ.
In addition to her client work, Ana was recently invited to be a guest lecturer to a Master’s level course in philanthropy at Boston University.
Prior to joining Ruotolo Associates, Ana worked as Special Events Manager at the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey. Ana managed a variety of events simultaneously to generate revenue and increase chapter awareness. She identified, engaged and developed volunteer committees to support fundraising objectives and collaborated with board members and major gift officers to solicit and secure financial support. Ana initiated the first operating calendar of cultivation events targeting high net worth donors to foster relationships with the American Red Cross. In addition to event management, she focused on marketing and established the chapter’s first email marketing and online donation program. The events managed by Ana created buzz through print, television and social media providing visibility in the community for the chapter. As a result of strategically planning and managing each event successfully, revenue increased over 35% in less than three years.
Ana’s passion for philanthropy was born while working as Project Manager in the Professional Education Department at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Ana managed grant funded educational seminars in coordination with Joslin physicians creating a new line of revenue to support the center’s research to find a cure for diabetes. During her position at Joslin Diabetes Center, Ana volunteered with the Family Reach Foundation and served on the organization’s premier event committee to provide financial relief to families who are fighting pediatric cancer. She offered her expertise and collaborated with the committee to create and manage a work plan to keep the entire team on task. The event revenue increased 50% from the previous year.
Ana received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Public Relations from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, and earned her certificate in Event Management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Ana resides in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
