La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), founded in 1871, is an independent Catholic co-educational college preparatory school accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges under the direction of the De La Salle Christian Brothers. Current student enrollment is 1,368 for the High School and 167 for the Middle School for a total enrollment of 1,535.
La Salle’s Office of Institutional Advancement is currently seeking an Advancement Officer to assist the Vice President and related staff in a progressive department focused on fundraising, stewardship and philanthropic cultivation.
General Areas of Responsibilities:
- Annual Giving Program administration from solicitation through acknowledgement and fulfillment.
- Assist the Director of Alumni Relations in cultivating and engaging individuals in the philanthropic needs of the institution and oversee and implement a Class Reunion Year Giving Program.
- Utilize data research and wealth indication tools to identify and cultivate potential Major Gift prospects.
- Perform other related professional tasks within the Advancement Office as required.
A minimum of three to five year’s professional experience in advancement and development, preferably in
an educational setting, required. Experience in data research and wealth indication resources required. Experience with RaisersEdge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
